Pensions gap focus groups

Black Equity Organisation are undertaking work on the pensions gap in the UK. To conduct research, they are hosting focus groups to hear real-life experiences of people either with or without pensions. 

They are keen to hear from the Black community — across ages and genders — whether you’re employed or self-employed, and whether you’ve opted in or out of a workplace pension. You will be compensated for your time.

Mental Health First Aid training

The Community Partnerships & Engagement Team at Central Northwest London NHS Trust currently have spaces remaining on upcoming training sessions in May, June and July.

This training will help you to recognise the signs and symptoms of common mental health issues, support someone experiencing a mental health crisis, improve your own wellbeing. Topics covered include wellbeing, anxiety, depression, and suicide awareness and prevention. 

Porn Literacy Group for Young People (ages 18-30) - Pan London

SASH (Support and Advice on Sexual Health) have announced a new Porn Literacy Group for young people (ages 18 - 30-year-olds), hosted by SASH peer mentors Leila and Belinda. This is a peer group, for and by young people, to think about their relationship to porn. Each session is stand-alone, so participants can attend 1 or all 4.

New Get Online in K&C Handbook

The latest version of the digital inclusion signposting booklet has been released, now rebranded as the Get Online in K&C Handbook.

This handbook brings together all the support available to residents with digital skills, devices, connectivity, and staying safe online.

It’s a practical resource to help people to get online and build confidence with digital technology.
