During 2017/18 staff and trustees worked together with input from stakeholders of KCSC to develop our future strategy.

A summary of our draft plan is now complete and available for download. We are also consulting on two reviews using external consultants of our VCS Transformation Programme and of how we deliver organisation development support.

MUSAWA a BME-led Community Consortium of 14 grassroots organisations in Kensington & Chelsea just released a "BME Community Needs Assessment after Grenfell" report. This report investigates local BME community needs one year on from the fire at Grenfell Tower, to support an inclusive and informed evidence-base for service delivery in the area

Social Return on Investment report released

Key results of the report include: £2.80 of social value created per £1 invested, Circa 11.5% reduced hospital admissions and 1300 patients were reached up to March 2018.

New campaign launched to support mental health in Kensington & Chelsea

This campaign is for everyone in Kensington and Chelsea and promotes sources of help and support to anyone struggling emotionally. It isn’t only about suicide but about promoting good mental health. If those who are most at risk can’t reach out directly then we hope their loved ones might find this campaign a useful source of support and help.

Annual Full Council Meeting - Finance

On Wednesday 7th of March, Kensington and Chelsea Council will be holding its budget meeting; this happens annually and is an important meeting looking at the way the Council should fund its services. The different political groups will debate options for a future budget throughout the evening in the council chamber, before a vote is taken on setting council tax for the next financial year.
