Grants of up to £100,000 are available to small to medium charities, CICs and businesses for projects that improve access to active travel, particularly for underrepresented groups and those who are less physically active.
The programme aims to support projects that develop, deliver or expand interventions to increase walking, wheeling and cycling. Initiatives may include community activities, partnerships between local authorities and businesses or digital tools to support safety and accessibility.
Applicants must be registered in the UK and projects must be delivered in England.
Funded projects can be new or scaled, focused on engagement and behaviour change.
Successful applicants will also receive practical support, including help with partnerships, stakeholder engagement and measuring project outcomes.
