Deadline
This fund aims to support creative community projects that help raise awareness of the dangers of loan sharks and illegal lending.
Funding is for projects that meet the following criteria:
- Contributing to raising awareness of the dangers of using loan sharks.
- Preventing crime and disorder and publicising the Stop Loan Sharks message.
- Promoting the work of the Illegal Money Lending Team (IMLT) in communities.
- Encouraging reporting of loan sharks.
The following are not eligible for funding:
- Staff training, presentation slides, posters, and other publicity materials, which can all be provided free of charge by an IMLT liaison officer.
- Staff salaries, day-to-day running costs, or vehicle costs.
- Producing freebies, publicity merchandise, or distributing costs.
- Film production (unless niche and with a guaranteed audience).
- Office or home working equipment, including laptops and filming equipment.
- Plays (unless they have a guaranteed audience of 50 people).
- Food.
- Costs of putting together an application.
Funded projects should be delivered by 1 September 2027.
