London Catalyst - Project Grants

London Catalyst is a registered charity and a company limited by guarantee, and the successor to the Metropolitan Hospital-Sunday Fund, established in 1873.

London Catalyst’s objectives are to:

  • Improve the health and well-being of people who are most in need.
  • Raise awareness of the work of supported organisations.
  • Help to remove people from poverty.

Grants of between £1,000 and £5,000 are available for new initiatives and service developments targeted at people disadvantaged as a result of long-term ill health, disability and poverty. Grants for over £5,000 will be considered if the trustees take a special interest in the project.

Grants can be used for all reasonable and relevant project costs.

Charities and voluntary and community organisations working within Greater London (within the M25 orbital motorway) can apply as long as their work is legally charitable.

Priority is given to small or medium-sized organisations with an annual income of around £500,000.
