Election for Voluntary Sector Representatives
The rules for the Kensington and Chelsea Partnership (KCP) and the Borough Voluntary Organisations Advisory Group (BVOAG) require representatives to stand for re-election every two years. Election to both the KCP and BVOAG is open to individuals working in the voluntary and community sector in Kensington and Chelsea.
Kensington and Chelsea shortlisted for national Compact award
Kensington and Chelsea is one of four areas in the running to receive a Local Compact Partnership Award for best practise and commitment to implementing a Local Compact.
Do you want to be a Social Council trustee?
We are now seeking nominations for prospective candidates for the Kensington & Chelsea Social Council board of trustees. An election will be held at the Annual General Meeting that takes place on Wednesday 14 November. Nominations close on Friday 9 November.

Kensington Community Fund
Deadline: Friday 14 December 2012
The Catalyst Gateway Kensington Committee is inviting applications for the next round of its Community Fund. Grant awards of up to £2,000 are available. Applicants must be from constituted groups and benefit residents living in or near Catalyst homes in North Kensington.
Advice Services Transition Fund
Deadline: Monday 28th January 2013
Grants of between £50,000 and £350,000 will be available to partnerships of local not-for-profit advice providers.The fund will help advice providers adapt to the new funding environment over a two-year period from 2013/14 by encouraging partnerships and collaboration to ensure long term sustainability

Room Rental & Short Let Space at London Lighthouse
Terrence Higgins Trust has a range of different sized rooms for conferences and meetings which accommodate between two and 100 people, at competitive rates. The rooms are available by the hour, half day, or full day from 9.30 am to 8.30 during the week (until 5 pm on Fridays) and by arrangement at weekends with special rates available for charities.
