Discretionary grants are available to charitable organisations and educational establishments for projects delivering impactful opportunities for young Londoners, particularly those from disadvantaged or low income backgrounds, to enable them to find and fulfil their potential.

Charities and community groups can apply to the Community Ownership Fund (COF) to take ownership of assets at risk of being lost, such as pubs, theatres and parks. Charities can bid for grants of up to £50,000 in revenue funding, and the government will match fund-up to £250,000 in capital costs.

Grants of up to £120,000 over three years to cover project costs are available for not-for-profit organisations that are working with disadvantaged children and young people aged up to 18 years and living in the UK.

Grants of between £50 and £500 are available to community groups, schools and other not-for-profit organisations for projects that champion education, participation, environment, diversity and health in the UK.
