Youth Music - Recharge Fund: Racial Equity

Deadline

The funding is intended to support creative organisations led by communities that experience racial injustice through long-term core funding. It aims to address structural inequalities and historic underfunding experienced by Black and Global Majority creatives and organisations.

Youth Music expects to invest a total of £2.4 million through the programme across England. Organisations can apply for up to £120,000 over a four-year period. Applicants can access support including one-to-one discussions, online question-and-answer sessions, application support workshops and eligibility guidance from the grants team.

Applications will be accepted from organisations that are led by and for communities that experience racial injustice and work creatively with children and young people in England.

Applicants must be based in England, legally constituted, have been delivering activity for at least one year by December 2026 and have an organisational turnover of £500,000 or less in their most recent financial year.

Eligible organisations must have a bank account in their own name, recent financial records and appropriate insurance and statutory compliance arrangements.
