Young K&C Training Microgrant

Young K&C's new Training and Learning Microgrant is intended to make a real difference to the people working with children and young people across Kensington and Chelsea. 

Applications will be considered on a rolling basis from August 2026 until the fund is fully allocated.

The grant can be used to cover the cost of training, conferences, seminars or learning resources for staff, trustees and volunteers in the following areas:

  • Governance and leadership (e.g. financial governance, HR, strategic planning)
  • Fundraising (e.g. bid writing, social media)
  • Monitoring and evaluation (e.g. storytelling, data collection, impact reporting)
  • SEND training (e.g. ASD training, challenging behaviour, supporting parents, or purchase of related resources)
  • Youth and play practice development
  • Digital skills and AI training
  • Essential or required training for core delivery (e.g. safeguarding, first aid, mental health first aid)

Young K&C may also consider other training needs where a satisfactory justification is provided. If you are unsure whether your training is eligible, please contact Young K&C before applying. 

Total grant pot: £14,000 
Maximum grant per organisation: £1,000 
Deadline: Rolling deadline until funds are allocated
