Introduction to Social Media for voluntary organisations

This two-hour workshop will help you get up to speed on all the things you need to know, and do, to promote your community organisation on social media.


While many organisations may be time-poor and/or reliant on volunteers, it is entirely possible to create meaningful communication through social media at a local level. The agenda will cover the following topics:

  • Getting the basics in place
  • Promoting your events
  • Campaigning

There will be interactive exercises for attendees to work on together and bring it all to life. 

This workshop will be delivered by Creativism CIC, a local organisation which aims to brings together creative, digital and mixed media projects, learning, skills development, experiences, events, and products for the benefit of the local community.

It is for representatives of local voluntary and community organisations operating in the Royal Borough of Kensington & Chelsea. It is not open to members of the public.

Cancellations

Registrants who fail to attend, arrive late or leave early without notifying us by email at least 3 days in advance of the event start time, will be charged a cancellation fee of £30.
