Helen has over 25 years’ experience of working in the voluntary and public sector with five of these as CEO of a Brent-based older people’s charity. Her academic background is in social policy with expertise in health and ageing. For the past 8 years Helen has been working as a freelancer in the voluntary sector providing training, fundraising and organisational development. Helen volunteers at a hospice day centre where in addition to making teas, coffees and chatting to patients, she also records their biographies. In her spare time she dabbles with playwriting.
