The Co-CARE team at the London School of Economics, are investigating anti-poverty practice in social care, specifically co-located services (places where adult social care and anti-poverty/welfare support are offered in one place).
As part of the ESRC: Economic and Social Research Council’s Festival of Social Science, they are hosting a free workshop at Toynbee Hall in London on Tuesday 3 November: Support In One Place.
It will be a day of exploration and celebration, and a chance for communities across England, members of the public, people with lived experience of social care or financial hardship, practitioners and policy professionals with an interest in co-located services to find out more about the different types of services and how they aim to bring about change to older adults and their local communities. Registration closes on 25 October.
