Suicide Prevention is Everyone's Business - Free Suicide Prevention Training

The Every Life Matters Team have shared information on their free, life-saving training around suicide prevention.

This training is funded by RBKC and Westminster City Council and is available to anyone who lives or works in the boroughs.

Training available:

• Suicide Awareness Bitesize: A one-hour online session designed to help you recognise the signs of suicide, talk openly about it, and offer practical support - 24 March.

• Suicide Alertness: A 3.5-hour online session aimed at anyone who wants to understand more about suicide, have confident conversations, and provide practical support - 16 February.

• Safety Planning: A 2.5-hour online session that equips you with practical tools to help individuals create their own safety plans, ideal for those with prior suicide awareness or alertness training - 11 February and 11 March - 28 January, 25 February and 19 March.

• Self-harm Alertness:  A 3.5-hour online session suitable for school staff, health and social care practitioners, and anyone in the community who wants to know more about self-harm and how they can support someone who is self-harming - 11 February and 11 March.
