Advantages of Age delivers social activities, business courses and the Advantages of Age awards to support those aged 50+ to manifest the life they desire. Our award winning Startup School for Seniors, funded by RBKC, helps older residents take an idea and turn it into a business.
Course Information:
Startup School for Seniors is an eight-week online course funded by RBKC starting Thursday 1 May 2025, designed for people aged 50+ who are ready to start their own businesses.
This course is perfect for you if:
- You’ve always wanted to start a business but aren’t sure where to begin.
- You’d love to meet others, share your business ideas, and receive valuable feedback.
- You want to build confidence and improve your chances of success.
- You’re ready to turn your hobby, passion, or work experience into a source of income.
Delivered by social enterprise Advantages of Age, the course is led by entrepreneur Suzanne Noble and business coach Mark Elliott. Together, they create a fun, interactive, and supportive learning environment, helping participants progress week by week.
Fully sponsored places are available to:
- Residents of London
- Individuals who are unemployed.
- Those earning £27,000 or less per year.
