Sacred Space Sistars at Tate Britain

Join Kamitan Arts for a creative healing retreat inspired by the timeless wisdom of Indigenous Egypt.

Step into a sacred space where time slows, worries fade, and your spirit can breathe. ‘Sacred Space Sistars’ is an intimate half-day retreat, offering a gentle pause from life’s demands - a sanctuary to reflect, create and reconnect with the most radiant parts of yourself. Here, creativity becomes medicine, self-expression becomes liberation, and self-care becomes a sacred act.

Led by Creative Healing facilitator, poetess, choreographer, and Artistic Director of Kamitan Arts C.I.C, Emmanuelle Marcel, this transformative multi-disciplinary experience blends breathwork, visualisation, relaxation, free movement, positive affirmations, expressive writing, and heartfelt sharing.

Rooted in the wisdom of indigenous Egypt, participants will be guided to balance their energies, restore their inner abundance, and awaken their creative essence. Develop your self-care techniques within the supportive embrace of a circle of ‘sistars’ and the grounding beauty of nature, as you journey with us through Ancient Egypt...

Moving with the mantra: ‘one breath, one thought, one action’.
