RBKC are currently running two consultations which are open for input from residents.
Making the Borough Greener aims to understand how environmental issues are impacting the local area, what environmental improvements you'd like to see and which actions you think the Council should prioritise. Their aim through the consultation is to shape a greener, healthier, and more resilient future for Kensington and Chelsea - reducing carbon emissions, improving air quality and enhancing biodiversity in our neighbourhoods.
The survey seeks your input on the environmental challenges in your area, the improvements you wish to see, and the priorities that matter most to you.
You can find out more and take the survey here: Making the Borough Greener - Kensington and Chelsea's Consultation and Engagement Hub - Citizen Space
Making the Borough Greener consultation closes on 15 September.
The second consultation Housing Management - Resident Involvement Strategy is about involving residents in the Council's housing management strategy. They are looking for resident insight into homes and communities in order to create opportunities for collaboration and meaningful change. The Council say: "this updated Resident Involvement Strategy reflects lessons from Grenfell, new housing regulations, and the priorities of the Council Plan. With input from our Pulse Survey and a resident Co-design Panel, we’ve created a framework that makes it easier, more flexible, and more impactful for residents to get involved — from quick surveys to co-designing services."
Housing Management - Resident Involvement Strategy consultation closes on 1 October.
