Open Age Falls prevention programme

Helping older Londoners stay steady, active and independent

Falls can have a serious impact on confidence, independence and wellbeing - but they are not an inevitable part of ageing.

Open Age’s Steady and Stable programme supports older people across Westminster, Kensington & Chelsea, Hammersmith & Fulham and Brent to improve balance, strength and confidence through specialist exercise classes designed to help prevent falls.

But it’s about more than physical health. Members also build friendships, regain confidence and feel more connected to their community.

One participant said:
“Previously, I felt quite isolated and rarely left the house, but now I feel comfortable going out and no longer worry about it.”

If you or someone you know would benefit from Steady and Stable, you can contact Open Age on 020 4516 9975 / [email protected]
