A fantastic opportunity for young people living in social housing in Kensington and Chelsea. 

The Youth Internship Scheme offers paid, two-week work placements within the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, designed to help you gain valuable experience and skills for your future career.

What’s on offer?

  • Earn the London Living Wage (£831 total)
  • Travel and lunch costs covered
  • Develop workplace skills and confidence
  • Gain insight into how your local council works

Who can apply?

  • Aged 18–21 (must turn 18 by June 2026)
  • Live in Kensington and Chelsea in social housing
  • Have the right to work in the UK
  • Available for a two-week full-time placement between June and September 2026

Placements are available across a wide range of teams, including Communications, Housing, Digital & Technology, Libraries, Parks, and more.
