CNWL is offering Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) training, open to anyone living, working, or studying in the London boroughs of Brent, Kensington & Chelsea, Westminster, and Harrow.
This course teaches you how to identify, understand, and support someone experiencing mental health challenges, as well as how to support your own wellbeing and that of friends, family, or service users. Topics covered include Wellbeing, Anxiety, Depression, Psychosis, Eating Disorders, Self-Harm, Suicide Awareness, and Prevention.
Course Dates & Details
The 2-day MHFA course runs from 9:30 AM to 5:00 PM on the following dates:
• Session 1: Monday 1st & Tuesday 2nd September
• Session 2: Monday 29th & Tuesday 30th September
• Session 3: Monday 20th & Tuesday 21st October
Please note, you must attend both days of your chosen session to complete the training and receive certification as a Mental Health First Aider. Kindly avoid booking if you have any appointments during these dates.
Participants are required to have their camera and sound enabled during the sessions. A digital workbook will be provided for use during the course and to keep afterwards.
