The Central and Northwest London NHS Foundation Trust Partnerships Team is pleased to continue to offer Mental Health First Aid and Ambassador of Hope training to help build your understanding of mental health, wellbeing, and how to identify and support someone experiencing a crisis. This training is available to anyone living, working, or studying in Brent, Harrow, Westminster, and Kensington and Chelsea.
Mental Health First Aid Training (MHFA) 26 and 27 February 2026
The 2-day Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) course runs from 9:30am–5pm on Thursday 26 and Friday 27 February 2026 and teaches how to recognise and support someone experiencing mental health challenges and how to support you own wellbeing. Topics include wellbeing, anxiety, depression, psychosis, eating disorders, self-harm, and suicide prevention. A digital workbook will be provided, and cameras and sound must be enabled throughout. Ambassadors of Hope Wednesday 25 February 2026
The Chasing the Stigma Ambassador and the Central and Northwest London NHS Foundation Trust offer mental health training for anyone in Brent, Kensington and Chelsea, Westminster, or Harrow. Ambassador of Hope is a 60-minute, lived-experience session that normalises conversations about mental health. It teaches how to find practical tools of support using the Hub of Hope website.
