Join the Greater London Authority (GLA) this London Voter Registration Week and beyond to ensure that all Londoners can exercise their democratic rights!
From 15th to 21st September, the GLA is running the seventh annual London Voter Registration Week with Shout Out UK and a pan–London coalition of civil society organisations and education institutions, coordinated with borough councils.
The annual campaign aims to increase voter registration rates, especially among under-registered and under-represented communities, through a mix of social media outreach and face-to-face engagement in schools and colleges.
London has some of lowest voter registration rates in the UK. You can help change that!
• Register to vote and remind your friends and family that if they’ve changed their name, address or nationality they need to register again.
• Check out and share the new and updated co-designed resources on who can register to vote and how, available in 16 community languages and British Sign Language on the GLA Democracy Hub (Go to Resources and filter by ‘LVRW 2025’)
If you have any questions or would like to get involved in the campaign, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with the GLA Democracy Team at [email protected]
