What is Eco-Fit?

Eco-Fit is a free Introductory Horticulture and Conservation skills workshop series.  It runs on Wednesday's from 10.45am - 1pm, over six weeks.  The next course will start on 18 February 2026.

Eco-Fit is for people experiencing poor mental and/or physical disabilities and are resident in Kensington and Chelsea.

It's a practical, outdoor course with a friendly, experienced Community Gardener, held in Holland Park and Chelsea Physic Garden.  There are all-sorts of activities including pond-dipping, wildlife and wildlife habitat identification, planting, tree id and more.

The team work closely with the Ecology Centre at Holland Park and the Community Engagement Team at Chelsea Physic Garden so people can see parts of the parks they don't normally have access to!

Refreshments are provided and any costs for park entry (Chelsea Physic Garden) are covered.  People are welcome to bring carers if they need to.

Outcomes: learning new skills, meeting new people and getting outdoors in nature!
