Eastside People Festival of Trusteeship

Submitted by Duncan Cordy on

The Festival will take place 9-13 November 2026 during Trustees Week. It will consist of 15 to 20 live, online sessions aimed at trustees, aspiring trustees and people who work with trustees. It is the largest gathering of trustees in the UK (1,600 people in 2025). To give you a flavour, last year’s 15 sessions included “The Future of Trusteeship: keynote from the Charity Commission”; “Are trustees playing it too safe?”; “How to close well”; “How to disagree well on boards”; “Young trustees wanted”; and “How to build your confidence as a trustee”. If you are interested you can watch recordings of all the sessions on the website.

To make it easy for everyone, you buy a single, weekly pass that gives you access to all sessions and their recordings. You don’t need to confirm which sessions you plan to attend, you can just pick and choose the sessions you want to attend or watch back later based on what is most helpful to you. All ticket holders will be automatically sent the recordings from all sessions at the end of the Festival.

In addition, there will again be a free strand for aspiring trustees which will be available for registrations from September 2026.
