Development Officer

Submitted by Duncan Cordy on

The Community Transport Association are currently recruiting a new Development Officer who will be able to support community transport operators and partners in your region.

You'll be out there talking to our members, getting to the bottom of what they really need, and using your knowledge and experience to help them find the right solution. One day you might be advising on funding, the next you're at a networking event, the next you're helping a brand-new operator get off the ground.

You'll need to live in, or be able to travel easily around, the region, plus be up for travelling further afield across England and the UK when needed.

No transport background? No problem. CTA are after someone with a genuine interest in the sector and the drive to learn the technical side of the role, then explain it clearly to members. Experience matters more than a CV full of buses.

Salary: £30,292 rising to £33,437
Contract: Full-time, 35 hours per week (flexible working considered)
Location: Home-based, living in or near the region, with regular travel across it
Closing date: Thursday 3rd September, 5pm

If you love working with people, care about accessible transport and want a role with real purpose, CTA want to hear from you.
