The following opportunity comes from Protection Approaches, a UK-based charity working to prevent identity-based violence. They have been commissioned by the Greater London Authority’s London Resilience Unit to support the development of a new Equalities Partnership — and they are seeking input from civil society and equality-focused organisations across London.
The Equalities Partnership will sit within the London Resilience Forum, which leads on the capital’s emergency preparedness and response. The partnership will work to ensure that the voices of marginalised communities are central in how London plans for and responds to emergencies, including pandemics, climate-related events, terror incidents, and the cost-of-living crisis.
Organisations can get involved in a number of ways:
- Completing a short questionnaire
- Booking a conversation with the team (email: [email protected])
- Sharing your thoughts via email ([email protected])
We encourage you to contribute your perspective and to share this opportunity with others in your networks who may wish to take part.
