NHS Frailty Services Survey with Patient/Users

According to local health data, approximately 10-15% of the population aged 65 and above in north west London are living with moderate to severe frailty. This equates to roughly 160,000 individuals who require comprehensive and proactive care.

In order to proactively support the population, NHS North West London wish to make sure there is a high quality and equitable community frailty service across that is accessible for all residents aged over 18 and registered with a north west London GP practice.

NHS 111: Patient Engagement and Feedback

Whatever kind of experience residents have had with NHS services or staff, they would love to hear from those who have used the NHS 111 or Out-of-Hours Service. 

The NHS are asking residents to give feedback on any improvements, concerns, or compliments.

Community Corner at the Violet Melchett Centre

Community Corner is a service run by the NHS aiming to combat social isolation and help people to live well in their communities.

Every Thursday at Violet Melchett, the NHS run activities to promote health and wellbeing, including art, yoga and mindfulness classes.

RBKC Independent Visitor Programme

RBKC are looking for people to join as an Independent Visitor and positively impact the lives of children and young people in care (ages 10-25). By providing a consistent, supportive, and fun presence,  Independent Visitors help build their confidence and create lasting memories. This role has been described as life-changing, offering volunteers a chance to be truly valued and make a difference.

Neighbourhood Doulas birth education classes start at Holmfield House Children’s Centre and online on Wednesday 4 September from 10.30am to 12.30pm.

These free Face to Face/Online Birth Education Classes are open to all RBKC pregnant women and birthing people. 

The 5-week sessions include information around birth preparation, knowing your rights and options, mental health and wellbeing and confident parenting.
