North Kensington Social Justice Archive Project

RBKC council has published a new archive of stories from the North Kensington area about campaigns for social justice and equality. 

Engagement sessions were led by UCL consultants last summer to develop this project. Further news about the project's next stages will be announced at a presentation on Tuesday 4 February 2025.

SSE 2024 Survey: Supporting the social sector

The School for Social Entrepreneurs (SSE) are asking for your help! They want to understand the needs of ‘for purpose’ organisations including voluntary organisations, charities, social enterprises and community businesses. They are launching a survey to learn what skills the sector needs, the ways training is accessed, and the barriers that might be faced.

The results will shape the support that SSE deliver, to provide the practical, impactful learning that helps you and others build strong and resilient organisations.

Draft Budget 2025-26 Proposals

The Council have asked for your views on the budget for the financial year 2025/26.

This consultation has opened to help shape the Council's financial priorities and deliver value for money for residents, businesses, and communities. The Council’s draft budget report for 2025/26 includes key saving and growth revenue proposals, an update on the Council’s capital programme, and the Fees and Charges Schedule.

This budget has been created to support Council Plan commitments, to create a Greener, Safer and Fairer borough for all residents to enjoy.

Jack Petchey Foundation Table Tennis Programme open for 2024

Table Tennis England continue their partnership with the Jack Petchey Foundation and applications are now open for the coming year.

Since its inception, this partnership has introduced table tennis to more than 100,000 young people across London and Essex, providing countless opportunities for schools and youth clubs.  

For the 2024 academic year, Table Tennis England and the Jack Petchey Foundation will work with schools and youth clubs throughout London and Essex to deliver the five key strands of the programme: 

Support needed for Pepper Pot's Christmas programme for the elderly

Pepper Pot are looking to support their elderly residents over the Christmas period with food/hampers which they will be delivering to them on the week of the 16 December any support you can offer would be highly appreciated.

Many are very elderly and alone so anything to cheer them up over this period would really help.
