Description: The Royal Albert Hall is the world’s most famous stage. Since its opening by Queen Victoria in 1871, the world’s greatest musicians, singers, dancers, sportsmen, statesmen and world leaders have appeared on its stage. Over a million people each year enjoy live performances at the Hall, and millions more experience the Hall’s events through broadcasts, recordings and new media channels.

The Royal Albert Hall is a registered charity and receives no public revenue funding. One of the Royal Albert Hall’s charitable aims is to bring its work alive through its Education and Outreach programme. We strive to open up the Hall to children, teachers, young people, families and community groups in order to offer a wide calendar of events and make the most of the unique characteristics of the building. Our programme includes with specially created tours, workshops, projects and schools matinees.
