The K&C Foundation are inviting Expressions of Interest for their Improving Mental Health Fund.
The fund aims to address mental health challenges faced by residents in Kensington and Chelsea, by supporting projects that work with, and/or train people who work with, residents who are suffering mental health issues/crises or who are isolated or lonely.
Applicants must demonstrate that their project:
- Creates strong connections and builds a sense of community for service users
- Gives consistent, structured and long term support
- Is collaborative, partnering with other charities/local services and offering signposting for service users
Applications will be considered by a panel of local residents who have experience of mental health services in the borough. They will assess how well your proposal meets the above aims and criteria of the fund.
The Foundation's funding pot is £300,000 per year and the average grant they gave in their last funding round was £25,000 per year. However, they are open to applications for larger and smaller amounts. Applications can be for up to three years’ funding.
The deadline for Expressions of Interest is 5.00pm Friday 24 October 2025.
Successful applicants will then be asked to fill in a full application form, responses to these will be reviewed in early December and grant decisions will be communicated mid December.
If you have any questions, or would like to discuss your application before applying, please get in touch with Anna and Jon at [email protected].
