Grenfell Community Support - Community Activities Pilot

Deadline

Grants of up to £5,000 are available to constituted organisations and groups (groups that have a constitution/governing document) and a bank account in the organisation/group's name. The funding is for projects running between April and July 2026 which are designed to benefit people who are eligible for Grenfell Community Support.

Background:

In January 2025, the council launched Grenfell Community Support, a programme for residents who live within 500m of Grenfell Tower or lived there at the time of the tragedy.

  • A household wellbeing grant for people who lived in the area at the time of the tragedy
  • A free Kensington Leisure centre membership
  • The support of a community advocacy team; and
  • A programme of community activities

This funding is part of the programme, and is for a pilot scheme for community activities which will run between April and July while work on longer term community activities design takes place. The overall budget for the pilot is £40,000.
