KCSC is providing a series of training and tailored 1-1 support sessions to help local voluntary and community organisations to apply for RBKC’s Grenfell Projects Fund. Training will be held on the following topics:
1. Understanding and evidencing your community’s needs, 1st November 11 am
2. Project planning, management, monitoring and evaluation, 4th November 11 am
3. A-Z of grant fundraising, 8th November 11 am
4. Budgeting and financial management for projects, 11th November 11 am
A-Z of Grant Fundraising will help you gain basic insight into all of the essentials of grant fundraising, providing both an understanding of how the grant landscape has changed since Covid-19 and practical advice on how to write a compelling funding application. This training session will also cover how you can find the best trusts and foundations to support your cause, how to ensure you are ‘grant ready’ and have a budget proposal that represents good value for money.
This session will be delivered online and there will be a chance for you to ask questions.
This training is available to new and existing community and voluntary sector organisations running activities in Kensington & Chelsea. Organisations and collectives who are in the process of applying to the Grenfell projects fund will be given priority if places on this event reaches capacity.
