This workshop is ideal for organisations/staff with grant fundraising experience.

Organisations working in Kensington and Chelsea are invited to attend this Large Grant Fundraising training session, which will provide you with the understanding and skills required to find and secure grant funding, and develop long lasting relationships with funders.

This intermediate-advanced half-day session will cover:

-Developing fundraising and relationship management systems
-The project management cycle
-Finding unpublicised trusts
-The large grant assessment process
-Writing persuasive and succinct applications
-Relationship building with funders
-The importance of remaining outcomes-focussed
-Common mistakes
-Useful tips

Following this training session, organisations will be offered the chance to carry out a Grantfinder search, an international database of funding opportunities, alongside a KCSC staff member, to find the right fund for your project idea.

This session will be delivered by KCSC’s Tom Richards, who has secured and helped organisations to secure, up to 7 figure multi-year grant funding. It is one part of a package of support and events within the Develop and Grow Your Social Business Training Programme, a partnership programme between KCSC and Portobello Business Centre, funded by RBKC’s Community Leadership Programme.
