Update on KCSC's Transformation Programme

KCSC was funded by West London Clinical Commissioning Group (WLCCG) to deliver a Transformation Programme in 2017. Significant progress has been made and a number of organisations have come together as a representative of the volunary and community sector in Kensington and Chelsea and Queen's Park and Paddington to respond to changes and challenges in future funding from the NHS.

Since 2013, KCSC has had a strong relationship with West London Clinical Commissioning Group (WLCCG).  The CCG has made great strides to get to know and understand the local voluntary and community sector (VCS), working closely with KCSC to introduce and help facilitate relationships until fully embedded locally.

Free online training for carers now available

Health Help Now App

The ‘Health Help Now App’ is a National health resource that is being rolled out across the country by each Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG). With your permission, we would like to include your organisation in it. The App will help people in the community search for and access health and wellbeing services provided by the NHS, privately or locally by the Voluntary and Community Sector. It is a good opportunity to promote your services and our sector as a whole!

KCSC's Self care event success

KCSC runs a Self Care programme to offer Social Prescribing options to patients over 65 years old in the area, working with local organisations.

Voluntary and community organisations provide a range of services that contribute to greater health and wellbeing. These include services that are condition specific, like dementia support, relate to physical health such as exercise programmes and those that deal with aspects of mental health, such as befriending services or information and advice.

KCSC has launched its Self-Care directory online.

In Kensington & Chelsea, Queens Park and Paddington, Voluntary and community organisations provide a range of services that contribute to greater health and wellbeing.
