Family Friends was set up to support low-income families. Through a network of trained volunteers we provide befriending services to families in Kensington & Chelsea, Hammersmith & Fulham, and Brent. Through respect, encouragement and support, our mission is to aid families to discover their strengths and build on their coping skills.

Full of Life is a charity that supports and provides services to parent carers and their disabled children/adults by providing free practical independent advice to parent carers through our direct services with bi-monthly parent forums, advocacy for children and adult services and a parent partnership service which deals with anything to do with special educational needs.

Grief Encounter provides expert Bereavement and Trauma support on a free, open access basis to children and families
We also offer professional support to schools and other local community groups, delivering individual Bereavement counselling, group work, advice, support and training as required.

Home-Start believes that children need a happy and secure childhood and that parents play the key role in giving their children a good start in life and helping them to achieve their full potential. Through a network of trained and DBS checked volunteers who are either parents themselves or who possess relevant experience, we support parents and children who are experiencing a variety of difficulties including: social isolation, illness, disability, post-natal depression and bereavement.

Hornimans Adventure Playground exists to provide facilities for play and recreation for children aged between 5 and 16 years who live or attend school in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea and surrounding boroughs by providing children with a broad range of exciting play opportunities designed to help them develop their full potential through activities/workshops that are free, multi-cultural and promote creativity, imagination and self-expression.

To explore cultural identity and the heritage of our diverse community, as well as highlighting injustices and empowering women through the performing arts. This includes workshops and productions in rap poetry, dance, drama, music, and film.

KIDS is a national charity, founded in 1970, that provides a wide range of services to disabled children, young people and their families in England. KIDS’ Adventure Playgrounds provide an opportunity for stimulating and inclusive play on a closed access site with priority is given to children and young people with specific requirements and their siblings.
