Introduction to Money Guiders with the Money and Pensions Service

Join us from 2pm - 3:30pm on Wednesday 11 February 2026 for this Introduction to Money Guiders session. This session is targeted to those who make decisions about staff and volunteer Learning and Development, for example senior or operational leaders and HR Managers.

We are delighted to host the Money and Pensions Service (MaPs) to present their free, City & Guilds endorsed Money Guiders resources to local voluntary and community organisations.

Nearly 4 million practitioners in the UK regularly have conversations about money with people who have financial worries. Money Guiders helps organisations and practitioners to talk about money with customers confidently, and offer safe, effective guidance. If your staff and volunteers are among them, we encourage you to come along to this session to:

  • Find out more about the Money Guiders competency framework to understand what money guidance means and the behavioural and technical competencies to enhance your service delivery.
  • Take a virtual tour of the E-learning suite and Community Networks space, where practitioners learn from each other and communities get better support to overcome money issues.
Small grants are available to the first group of local voluntary and community organisations who sign up!

Find out more about the microgrants here.

Here's what participants from the previous session said:
