Funding available to support community engagement activities.
We are inviting local voluntary, community and social enterprise (VCSE) organisations to host community conversations with residents and people who use local services, helping to shape the future design of Neighbourhood Health across Westminster and the Royal Borough of Kensington & Chelsea.
Organisations can apply for up to £500 to cover the costs of delivering an engagement activity and sharing the insights gathered.
Funding for this work is provided by West & North London Integrated Care Board (ICB) and administered by Kensington & Chelsea Social Council & One Westminster.
What is Neighbourhood Health?
Neighbourhood Health is about making health, care and community support work better together in the area people live. A local area is known as a Neighbourhood - this is a community made up of a few nearby wards, such as North Kensington, Church Street and the surrounding area, or Pimlico and South Westminster.
The idea is that services such as GPs, nurses, social care, community services and local charities work more closely together so people receive more joined-up support. This is especially important for people living with several long-term health conditions, or those who need support from lots of different services.
By organising support around smaller local areas, services can better understand the needs of local communities and provide more support closer to home. The aim is to make it easier to get the right help at the right time, reduce the need to repeat your story to different services, and provide more support in the community rather than in hospitals where appropriate.
What are we asking organisations to do?
We are looking for organisations to facilitate a conversation with people from their community about the future development of Neighbourhood Health.
A set of suggested discussion questions will be provided. Organisations do not need to use every question and may adapt the wording where appropriate to suit the audience they are engaging.

Activities could include (but are not limited to):
- Community discussions
- Focus groups
- Existing community forums
- Peer support groups
- Outreach conversations
- Workshops or engagement events
We recognise that different communities engage in different ways, and we are keen to support approaches that are accessible and meaningful.
Who do we want to hear from? We are particularly interested in hearing from people who:
- Live in Westminster or Kensington & Chelsea (or access services in these boroughs)
- are registered with a GP in Westminster or Kensington & Chelsea
- live with multiple long-term health conditions
- Experience barriers accessing health, care or other support services
- Have experiences that are often underrepresented in service design and decision-making
Timescales
- Activities must be delivered during September 2026.
- Feedback and insight must be submitted by 30 September 2026.
