The deconstruction of Grenfell Tower began in September 2025. This is a very emotional time for the North Kensington community. For many people, the tower is both a painful reminder of loss and a powerful symbol of the ongoing fight for justice and change.
The decision to bring it down has been, and still is, a difficult and sensitive issue for local residents, bereaved families, and community groups.
Throughout this time, voluntary and community organisations continue to play a vital role. They provide care, advice, and safe spaces, supporting people living with the trauma of Grenfell. Their work is essential, helping residents cope while ensuring the community’s voice is heard.
This page brings together resources, information, and platforms to support both residents and VCS groups. Our aim is simple: to make it easier for people to find the tools, services, and networks that matter while deconstruction is underway.
We stand with the community in grief, in resilience, and in the fight for justice, respect, and lasting change in housing .
