Community In‑Reach Programme (RBKC & Westminster)
The Community In‑Reach Programme is all about working with community organisations led by and supporting Black communities across Kensington & Chelsea and Westminster to host vibrant and culturally rooted health & wellbeing events in places people know and trust. Instead of expecting people to travel to clinics or navigate complicated systems, events bring support and advice into places where people already gather — community centres, faith spaces, youth hubs, cultural venues and more.
Community In‑Reach events offer a mix of:
- Health & wellbeing checks
- Practical support (e.g., benefits, housing, cost of living)
- Cultural & creative activities
- Family‑friendly spaces
- Food, music and community celebration
Want to Host or Get Involved?
We’re looking for:

- Cultural groups, performers, creatives - to deliver activities at in-reach events
- Food businesses - to provide catering at events
- Health & social care services - To provide, and share information about, health and wellbeing support at events
How It Works

The Community In‑Reach programme sits within the Vibrant and Healthy Communities Programme, which aims to maximise the role of communities and the wider Voluntary and Community Sector (VCS) in addressing health inequalities.
