Managers Introduction to Money Guiders with the Money and Pensions Service

Find out about this opportunity for your organisation to gain City & Guilds recognition in money guidance, giving your communities safe, effective support to avoid or overcome financial issues.

Join us from 2pm - 3:30pm on Wednesday 11 February 2026 for this Managers Introduction to Money Guiders session.

We are delighted to host the Money and Pensions Service (MaPs) to present their free, City & Guilds endorsed Money Guiders resources to local voluntary and community organisations.

Nearly 4 million practitioners in the UK regularly have conversations about money with people who have financial worries. If your staff and volunteers are among them, we encourage you to come along to this session to:

  • Find out more about the Money Guiders competency framework
  • Take a virtual tour of the E-learning suite and Community Networks space

For people at the sharp end of rises to the cost-of-living, the need for good money guidance is greater than ever. Money Guiders helps organisations and practitioners to talk about money with customers confidently, and offer safe, effective guidance.

  • You’ll know what money guidance means, and the boundaries between guidance and regulated advice.
  • You’ll develop the behavioural and technical competencies to enhance your service delivery.
  • You’ll be part of a community where practitioners learn from each other.
  • Your communities will get better support to overcome money issues.

This session is for those who make decisions about staff and volunteer Learning and Development, for example senior or operational leaders and HR Managers.

Here's what participants from the previous session said:

"I would unreservedly recommend the money guides service and session to anyone looking to improve their financial understanding and planning. It's a must-do!"

"I'm extremely impressed with the money guides service and the session I attended. It was an incredibly valuable and well-structured experience."

If you are interested, please register to secure your place. Spaces are limited.

This meeting is for representatives of local voluntary and community organisations operating in the borough of Kensington and Chelsea. It is not open to members of the public.
