Are you new to working with volunteers? This beginner friendly workshop is designed to help you build confidence and lay the foundations for a successful volunteer programme.
Whether you're a staff member, trustee, or volunteer taking on management responsibilities, this interactive session will introduce the key principles and practicalities of good volunteer management.
This session, facilitated by the Volunteer Centre Kensington and Chelsea, will help you:
- Understand what volunteering is in a UK context
- Explore the basic principles of volunteer management and why they matter
- Identify the foundations of a positive volunteer experience
- Recognise your responsibilities as a volunteer manager or coordinator
- Map out the volunteering journey within your organisation
This training is for people who work or volunteer for a voluntary or community organisation operating in the borough of Kensington and Chelsea. It is not open to members of the public.
