The Kensington and Chelsea Foundation’s ‘Closing the Education Gap’ fund opened on Monday 28 April. The fund will prioritise projects which address educational inequalities in Kensington and Chelsea, supporting young people struggling at school and at risk of exclusion to achieve their full potential.
The multi-year fund will be open to non-profit organisations working in Kensington and Chelsea.
The deadline for applications is 2 June and applications will be considered by a panel of young people with a decision on grants by August 2025. Further details of the fund criteria and how to apply are available here.
At our Meet the Funder session on 30 April we will hear details around eligibility, priorities, amounts that can be applied for and how to apply. There will also be an opportunity to ask questions about the fund.
This meeting is for representatives of local voluntary and community organisations in Kensington and Chelsea. It is not open to members of the public.
