Supporting and Managing Young Volunteers

Registration is closed for this event
Learn how to make the most of young people's skills and ambition, while providing them an inclusive and enriching volunteering experience.

Many young people have the time and drive to help their community and volunteer. Not only is it helpful to the community, but volunteering can transform lives, both by giving young people the opportunity to gain valuable transferable skills, and by enabling them to share their skills and passion with others.

Delivered by the Volunteer Centre Kensington and Chelsea, this session will look at how to make volunteering for young people accessible, safe and rewarding. Receive practical advice and guidance to involve young volunteers in a positive, productive way. Learn how to create the best experience for both organisation and volunteer.

Whether you want to feel more confident supporting your existing young volunteers, or want to work with more young volunteers, this session will benefit you. It will especially benefit organisations who want to listen to young people and harness their voices to create positive change.

This session is delivered as part of Young K&C and KCSC's K&C Together Week 2024: Amplifying Young Voices for Change. To get involved in more workshops and events taking place, visit Events and Training | Kensington & Chelsea Social Council (kcsc.org.uk).
