Developing your Earned Income

Registration is closed for this event
Generating income through service delivery is the largest source of charitable income in the UK. Exploring opportunities for earned income can make a critical contribution to the availability of unrestricted funding for your organisation.

In this beginners session, participants will be introduced to the concept of earned income, and learn about the barriers, opportunities and key features associated with this type of funding. We will look at how you can effectively launch into generating income for your organisation through your activities, and how to work this into an active and sustainable component of your fundraising strategy.

It is important in today’s economic climate to maximise all the opportunities you have to raise money. This course is aimed at those interested in learning about new or different ways to fund their programmes, as well as those already exploring earned income opportunities for their charity or CIC.  It will also be useful for those who are considering developing a social enterprise to support their charity’s programmes.

This is the second session of our fundrasing series. Our third session will be on M&E: the basics of impact on 15 January. More details about the session will be released closer to the date.

After each session, you will have access to one-to-one support from the Organisational Development team, for advice in any areas or subjects you would like (by appointment).

Please note, spaces may be limited to one person per organisation, depending on demand.

This training is for representatives of local voluntary and community organisations operating in the borough of Kensington & Chelsea. It is not open to members of the public.
