Responsibilities of a CIC Director (via Zoom)

Registration is closed for this event
This session will set out the legal and financial responsibilities of a CIC Director, helping you to better understand your duties and the potential implications of not fulfilling them.

Join us in this session where we will go over your resonsibilities as a Director of a Community Interest Company, including legal duties, that you must understand and fulfil. This includes everything from ensuring your CIC's activities satisfy the community interest test (i.e. they provide benefit to the community, as set out in your governing documents), to filing your accounts accurately and on-time.

After the session, you will have access to one-to-one support from the Organisational Development team, who can advise on any area you would like further guidance on.

This session is open to directors of CICs operating in the borough of Kensington and Chelsea, and particularly those who may be new to the role. Staff members are also welcome to attend. It is not open to members of the public.
