Planning is a key responsibility of Trustees and charity leaders to ensure that the charity has a clear forward strategy with a supporting plan that sets out its direction and priorities, in order to deliver organisational purpose.
This course will be of benefit to Trustees and senior managers who want to find out how to approach strategic and business planning in their charity. The session will be interactive with opportunities to get insight and tips from other charity leaders.
At the end of this course, participants will:
- Have an understanding of the process of developing a strategy and business plan
- Consider who to involve in the process and how
- Be able to use a range of tools and resources to develop their strategic and business plan so that the staff and volunteer team have a clear direction and priorities
- Have tools to support ongoing monitoring and review of the strategy and business plan
- Have the opportunity to gain insights and tips from other charity leaders.
This training is for representatives of local voluntary and community organisations operating in the borough of Kensington & Chelsea. It is not open to members of the public.
Bookings are limited to two attendees per organisation. Once spaces are filled a waiting list will be employed.
Cancellation and Full Attendance
Attendees who fail to show up or do not attend the full session without notifying us at least 3 days in advance of the event start time in writing or by email are liable to be charged a cancellation fee of £30.
