Run by the RBKC Human Resources Department, it will look at whether an employer should deal with an employee's poor performance through a disciplinary or capability procedure, as this depends on the nature of the poor performance. As part of this, it will cover how an employer should carry out an investigation, which will include meeting with the employee concerned, to establish whether the employee's poor performance is conduct or capability related. Appropriate actions in different scenarios will be explored .
It will be an interactive session delivered so that there will be plenty of scope to ask questions regarding particular issues.
This training is for representatives of local voluntary and community organisations operating in the borough of Kensington & Chelsea. It is not open to members of the public.
