New funding is available for local VCS (Voluntary and Community Sector) organisations in the borough, to promote vaccine awareness. This Q&A session is to discuss the criteria and objectives for the funding, and how to apply.
The Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities (DLUHC) has identified a budget to deliver an initiative that supports community groups to engage their local populations to understand local barriers and needs, raise awareness of local support and promote COVID-19 vaccine uptake, public health guidance, and programmes for residents disproportionately impacted by barriers to COVID-19 vaccine uptake. In particular to identify individuals across communities who can become Champions.
