Finding the trustees your organisation needs to thrive: masterclass series (5 sessions over 3 dates)

Registration is closed for this event
Does your organisation struggle to recruit the board members it needs? Could a broader range of trustees with relevant professional skills, networks and life experiences help your charity survive and thrive? This masterclass series will give you practical, proven tricks and tips to recruit and retain trustees.

The series will be delivered by Anj Handa from trustee recruitment charity, Getting on Board, and is particularly aimed at trustees, staff or volunteers of small to medium sized charities.

The sessions will cover:

  • Working out who you need on your board
  • Writing a compelling trustee advert and information pack
  • How to find your new trustees
  • Shortlisting and interviewing trustees
  • How to ensure your new trustees get off to a flying start

There are 5 sessions in total, taking place in the first three weeks of October:

  • Sessions 1 and 2 will run on October 4th, 2021 from 5.30pm to 7.30pm - passed
  • Sessions 3 and 4 will run on October 11th, 2021 from 5.30pm to 7.30pm
  • Session 5 will run on October 18th, 2021 from 5.30pm to 6.30pm

Organisations may register up to two people (ideally, bringing at least one Trustee). Organisations must attend all 5 sessions, however, if two people are registered from an organisation, they may agree to split the sessions between them, with prior notice given to KCSC. If this is likely to be the case for your organisation, please email [email protected].

Sessions will be held on Zoom. Joining details will be sent out the day before each session to all those registered.

Please note, there is a maximum of 20 participants.
