2nd Training: Health Coaching Skills - North Kensington Self-Care Programme

The North Kensington Self-Care offer, funded by North Kensington Recovery Programme, will be working with leading Health Coaching Skills training providers, the Health Coaching Academy, to offer some FREE Health Coaching training places, ideal for anyone supporting people to have better health and wellbeing outcomes. This course is worth over £300. Please note that although the training is free, anyone who signs up and does not attend the training will be charged £30 to cover administrative costs.

About the course:

This highly interactive course comprises of 2 days of Health Coach Skills training delivered by 2 highly experienced Health Coach trainers. In this 2-day course, you will be introduced to the key concepts, tools and approaches for person-centred conversations, along with the opportunity to practice your new skills, with support and feedback from the highly experienced trainers. The course is accredited by both the Personalised Care Institute (PCI) and the European Mentoring and Coaching Council (EMCC). At the end of the course you will receive a certificate and hours towards your CPD. This course is worth over £300 and you will be able to receive it for free.

Who is the course for:

This Health Coach skills training is funded via the North Kensington Recovery Programme as part of the Self-Care offer and is co-ordinated by Kensington and Chelsea Social Council (KCSC). Employees and volunteers who work in North Kensington Voluntary and Community sector organisations are eligible to sign up for this training, especially those who support people in the community to have better health and wellbeing outcomes.

Dates:

The course is run across two days that are four weeks apart. In order to qualify, you must attend both days.

Future trainings:

The programme will be running again in early 2022. The October/November training will be delivered online, the January/February training will be delivered face to face in a venue within North Kensington.
