Coherent Breathing Morning Workshop June

Coherent breathing also known as 5 breaths breathing is a simple and effective method of improving physical and mental health.  It can be practiced by anyone anywhere.

 

You are invited to attend one of our two free Coherent Breathing workshop sessions delivered by Heather Mason from 'The Minded Institute'.

The sessions will take place on Tuesday 26th June at The Freston Road Hub, W10 6TT. 

In this three-hour workshop you will:

  • Learn about the physiology of coherent breathing, why it’s effective, and which patient groups are most likely to benefit
  • Experience the technique for yourself and have an opportunity to ask questions
  • Learn to teach this technique to others
  • Understand possible challenges and how to manage them effectively.
  • Receive a booklet that will help recount the learning you have done in the session

Notable positive changes include:

  • More effective oxygen uptake
  • Increased baroreflex sensitivity, a measure of the heart’s capacity to lower blood pressure naturally and effectively
  • Stress reduction both at the time of practice and increased resiliency from and to stress.
  • Increased ability to regulate one’s emotions, due to positive effects on the nervous system and brain
  • Enhanced released of biochemicals that help to reduce anxiety and fear and promote ease and relaxation.

80% of attendees from recent Coherent Breathing sessions rated the workshops as ‘excellent’ with the other 20% rating it as ‘good’.
